This litter is called the 4Continents litter as it literally represents 4 continents. Oberon's sire, Darius is from the USA, his mother Isis is from South Africa, Gedi's sire JJ is from Australia and her dam Deliz is from England. Bendegedig is a lovely typey Saluki, but she has never really liked to show. She is an excellent open field coursing dog, who unfortunately finishes the job out of sight of the judge. Her eyesight is exceptional and if she thinks she sees something she will pop a wheelie to get a better look.
Oberon finished easily in the ring and has excelled in the field, doing better then his sire before him. In his first season out despite being kept out of a breed hunt, he was NOFCA's #1 Saluki male. In his second season out, he was #1 Saluki by both ASA and NOFCA seasons and was also NOFCA's #1 hound.
He also completed his 500 Championship points in just two season, a feat very very rarely accomplished by Salukis.
We expect very typey and beautiful Salukis from this litter, who will excel in the field.
