1995 - 2008
In 1995, John and Tracey Skupny bred Ch D’Ansor Jerzy’s Jeep, (out of my Annie – Shiloh litter) to her half-brother Multi-Champion Sawahin Indra-Khan (Ch D’Ansor Becktor Bathsheba was the dam of both).
Seeing the potential of this litter, I purchased a puppy from them.
From the beginning, Fancy had a mind of her own. Stubborn and clever, she kept me on my toes.
She finished her show championship easily (in fact all the puppies from this litter finished).
In 1999, having formed a close friendship with Fiona Bennett, we decided to co-breed a litter.
We bred Fancy to Fiona’s extraordinary show and open field coursing champion
Multi SBIS Ch Mystery’s Ain’t Misbehavin’ CC CM
Eight puppies resulted, many of whom have excelled in the ring and in the field.
One of the pups was D’Ansor’s Masada of Al Sayad (Mia), a duplicate of her mother in many ways.
In 1999, Fancy and Mia were chosen for a supporting role in the movie “Cats and Dogs.”
